Quinta da Devesa Vintage Port is an exceptional wine, produced from carefully selected grapes of the best plots, exclusively from the estate. Vinified traditionally in granite lagares, the ageing process occurred in oak vats before bottling, between the second and third year. It’s a distinct Vintage which anticipates an ageing in bottle of superb quality. It may throw some deposit and should be decanted before drinking.

Tasting Notes

A knockout nose of ripe red fruits, raspberry and strawberry, floral, cocoa, pepper, cassis and iodine, fresh wildflowers, chewy with plum, grenadine, tar and later some tart blackcurrant flavors. The mid-palate coming closer to balancing the pure power. The tannins have very nice grip, which anticipate an ageing in bottle of superb quality.
