To celebrate our 80th anniversary, Quinta da Devesa has decided to bottle for the first time this extraordinary and rare wine, a wine which has been matured and concentrated over decades in our Douro cellars. This exclusive limited-edition wine comes from a very small number of casks that have been exclusively reserved for the family; unique treasures from Antónia and José Fortunato Júnior’s legacy, the members of the family who originally acquired Quinta da Devesa in 1941. Today Quinta da Devesa continues to be an independent family Port Wine producer and is honoured to share the experience of enjoying this special and unique wine with Port Wine aficionados all over the world.

José Fortunato Júnior was a winemaker passionate about White Port. He acquired Quinta da Devesa in 1941 due to its exceptional location with a diversity of sun exposures, altitudes and prevailing winds, which enabled the production of a unique range of White Ports. This exclusive limited-edition wine comes from a very small number of casks that until this year have been exclusively reserved for the family; unique treasures from Antónia and José Fortunato Júnior’s legacy. The wine ages at our cellars in "balseiros", "tonéis" or 550 litre casks. This Porto Colheita 1976 presents us with an outstanding bouquet, a very crisp acidity, due to the complexity, refined quality and long aftertaste.

Quinta da Devesa Porto 30 Years White
Quinta da Devesa Port Wines are produced exclusively from lots vinified and aged in the estate. Since 1941 vintages considered of superior quality by the family winemakers, were kept and stored in wooden barrels in the winery cellars. These extraordinary quality wines are used today to produce Quinta da Devesa Port Wines. This 30-Year-Old Port is obtained from a selection of grape varieties recommended for the Douro region. The ageing process occurs naturally over the years, in oak vats at Quinta da Devesa cellars, thus resulting in a darkened colour.
